Pearl Harbor December 7th 1941: 08:12 am

A special commission by Japanese industrialist Nobuo Harda for the anniversary of the end of the Pacific War. With extreme attention to historical and technical accuracy, I've depicted a moment on the day of December 7th down to a second - specifically 8:12 am, when the magazines of the USS Arizona detonated. Japanese attack commander Mitsuo Fuchida was making his run on the Arizona at that second, and quickly switched targets. The damage to Battleship Row and Ford Island installations have also been rendered to accurately reveal the progression of the attack up to that second.
