Authentic fragment from P-47D Thunderbolt of the 395th FS, flown by Captain Thomas N. Montag. He scored three victories (two Me 109, one Fw 190). This aircraft was lost in action while strafing a truck convoy in Normandy, France on August 14th 1944.
