Anyone who lives in Zanesville, Ohio probably gets the joke in this piece without explanation. I've depicted a locally famous underpass, off of our also famous y-bridge, that has been decapitating vehicles for more than 70 years. In this c. 1950 Christmas morning scene, Santa's sleigh has encountered this offending railroad overpass (then suspending the B&O line) in all-too-common fashion. Our local ZPD has arrived on the scene, but too late to save our Christmas!
