Luftwaffe Junkers Ju 88 C-2 NJG 5 Night Fighter Relic Display

This Ju 88 C-2 operated with IV./NJG 5. It was excavated by Christiaan Vanhee in 2004. Its markings have been reconstructed based upon its fragmented but remarkably well preserved remains.

This internal bracket is die stamped with extremely rare part numbers and inspection stamp. The number denotes that this C-2 was factory modified from an earlier A-1 version. The component is made from yellow anodized aluminum, invented by Junkers before the war.

Signed and numbered. Ready to hang as shown in a 13x10 frame.
