P-61 Black Widow Night Fighter Relic Display

11x17 inch wall-hanging display with an authentic aluminum fragment from Northrop P-61 'Black Widow', serial number 42-5533. This aircraft was lost over Nantwich, Cheshire, England, on the night of July 11, 1943, after running out of fuel. The crew escaped unharmed. The crash site was rediscovered in 1987 and partially excavated - including this 3.5x2 inch skin fragment, with much of its black paint over zinc chromate, remaining. Signed and numbered. Limited to only 15!
