German Roland D.VIa Fuselage Plywood Relic Display

This display includes a section of extremely rare fuselage plywood from a German Roland D.VIa shot down in 1918 by Lieutenant David Putnam of the American Expeditionary Forces. The section was originally given to Captain A. R. Brooks of the 22nd Aero Squadron, before being acquired by collector Col. George Burling Jarrett, then purchased by Robert Boheme in 1956. The section from which these pieces have been cut was then acquired by Ron Cole of Cole's Aircraft as part of the Boheme estate in 2022.

Display size is 11x17-inches. Signed and numbered.
