Original armored glass cockpit windscreen from a Bell p-39 Airacobra with complete frame, attachments, and oval gunsight, combined with Ron Cole's original artwork - professionally adhered to the back of the frame - of a P-39 in combat with an A6M3 Model 32 Zero Fighter in the Pacific!
Each display is ready to wall-hang or may be paired with a simple frame stand (not provided) for desk display if preferred.
The artwork is Giclee-printed on matte canvas and stretched to cover the back of the thick armored glass - much as canvas to stretched around a canvas frame, and wrinkle free.
There will only be six of these displays made - and each in signed and numbered under the aircraft's description on the artwork.
Each piece of armored glass possesses some cracking, mostly on the top edges, and does not detract from the piece.
