BF 109 E-7 ‘Black 6’ of 2./JG 52 (Werk Nu. 5895) was piloted by Oberfw. G. Struck on April 25, 1941, when it was shot down over Blackhouse Farm, Kent, by the Spitfire Mk Vb of Squadron Leader J.E. Rankin of 92 Squadron, RAF. Struck bailed out and was captured by the British. ‘Black 6’ was excavated by the Brenzett Aeronautical Museum in 1974. Full history included!
