St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Zanesville, Ohio, C. 1925 - by Ron Cole

I'm happy to reveal my Zanesville, Ohio Christmas composition for 2021!

St. Nicholas Catholic Church was built in 1898, in the Romanesque Revival style of architecture. It has changed little over the years, besides its central rose window and copper domes.
.
I've depicted the church as it appeared in 1925, on a chilly December night; main doors open to reveal the glowing salvation within. St. Nicholas (Santa Clause) is coming to the service, aboard the old trolley car - and some of his sleigh friends are along for the ride!
