This Boeing B-17G s/n 43-37990 was assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group, 8th Air Forse. It was given the name 'Parker's Madhouse' by its crew. On March 10th, 1944, during Operation Wesselring, this B-17 was damaged by German flak. After the crew safely bailed out of the aircraft, Parker's Madhouse flew on into Belgium and eventually crashed into a farmhouse near Tremelo. No one was injured, and local civilians famously made off with much of this bomber's material before the scene was secured by police and what remained was salvaged.
.
The tail section from Parker's Madhouse was used on the farm into which it crashed for over 50 years, until local history buffs rescued it. Some damaged panels were removed and from one of those these pieces were cut.
.

Our supply of these pieces, carefully cut from somewhat larger sections, is very limited. Each piece will be of at least equal quality to the parts in the image, but the best pieces in terms of paint and other features will be provided with the first orders placed. This is true of all Cole's Aircraft relic displays.
