Very rare Japanese A6M2 Zero vertical stabilizer frame one-of-a-kind relic display!
The combat history of this aircraft is unknown, but this rare component originated from this A6M2 Model 21's vertical stabilizer leading edge near where the tail meets the fuselage. There is a factory installed steel shim along the leading edge; a common practice in Japanese aircraft manufacturing where parts were handmade and adjusted to fit each aircraft. Very well reserved 'Aotake' coating on both sides.
Display is 20 x 16 inches, open custom-trimmed frame around matte canvas. Signed one of one.
