Very rare and well-preserved upper surface wing linen from a Fairey Swordfish Mk. I, combined with Ron Cole's original artwork depicting the sinking of the Bismarck. This authentic linen reveals the wartime dark matte green over the prewar Fleet Air Arm silver dope with red/brown base-coat underneath. A terrific and rare specimen.
Each display is 11 x 17-inches, framed under glass and ready to hang. Each is signed and numbered - one to twenty - by the artist.
