Soviet Air Force Yakovlev Yak-3 Authentic Relic Display

Very rare Soviet Air Force Yakovlev Yak-3 authentic aircraft relic display from Ron Cole.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 was the best low altitude fighter/interceptor produced by the Soviet Union in World War II. It served with distinction from June of 1944 until the end of the war, and was feared by the German Luftwaffe. The remains of this Yak-3, believed to be serial number 2451, was rediscovered and partially excavated near Neidenburg (present day Nidzica), East Prussia in 2011. The 1.5x1.5 inch aluminum fragment retains most of its unique sky blue camouflage paint, and was cut from a section of this aircraft's lower engine cowling.
This piece comes in an 8.5x11 inch frame as pictured - ready to hang!
Each display is unique!  Signed and numbered - one of only 50.
