American Air Corps (AEF) Breguet 14 Original Red Roundel Fabric Relic Display

Extremely rare original AEF roundel cut from the lower wing of a Breguet 14, crashed at Clermont Ferrand, France in 1918, paired with Ron Cole's painting of this aircraft in service with the 96th Aero Squadron.
The fabric measures 2 x 3 inches. The framed ready-to-hang display measures 11 x 17 inches. All, including the fabric swatch, is framed under glass.
Signed and numbered by the artist - one of 15.
These pieces of authentic material were cut from the aircraft in 1918 (as described in pencil on the reverse of one of these cut pieces) by a British serviceman who then made them into pages for his personal photo album. They were obtained from the UK recently, minus the photos. In total there were six 6 x 15 inch linen pieces, folded in the center, obtained in the collection. See detailed photo:
